Melbourne Music Bank 2015 was like an adrenalin pumped dream that I will never forget and forever be thankful for. Artists need and thrive on the support of others and this competition catered for all of the crucial components involved in boosting an artist’s...
music in various fields, as well as providing invaluable guidance and advice from industry professionals. There is so much work that goes on behind the scenes to make something happen such as organising a professional music video that I wouldn't have been able to do without my incredible team from MMB! My main goal as a musician is to reach and connect with as many people as I can through my music and MMB expanded my audience immensely, it has lead to so many wonderful opportunities such as being interviewed on my childhood favourite TV shows, working on music for Bank Of Melbourne advertisements and even receiving international offers from PR and music organisations. The Melbourne Music Bank has given me a strong understanding of the music industry today and with their belief and confidence in me has helped me grow and develop further in my career.

Being involved in the Melbourne Music Bank 2014 was an extremely valuable experience for me as an artist. I received some incredible prizes and tools that have made networking, promoting and growing my fan base much easier, tools that I otherwise wouldn’t have had access to.
I have met some incredible people who have been an excellent support base and offered precious guidance and knowledge, something that is invaluable in a tough industry. Since the program my band and I have recorded and released our second EP 'Nothin' But The Bones' and toured the east coast of the country to celebrate its launch. The single from the EP, 'Old Salt', gained AirPlay on hundreds of community radio stations, was added to rotation on Triple J Unearthed and received play on Triple J's main station on the Roots N All program. It reached number one on the AirIt/AMRAP regional radio charts as most requested/played song on community radio. We are now well on the way to recording and releasing our third EP. We've had offers to tour with and support some incredible artists and can't wait to see what the next year has in store for us! The Melbourne Music Bank was an excellent career kickstarter and foot-in-the door of the music industry and I'm extremely lucky to have been a part of the 2014 program
